At Richmond Nantwich we are very proud of our Care Centre, which provides residential care. Our ethos is to foster an atmosphere of care and support which enables residents to live as full, interesting and independent a life as possible. We understand that just because someone is not as physically active as they used to be, it doesn't mean they are mentally inactive. Our carers and therapists encourage residents to take part in all the activities they like, whether it be a music recital, an art class or a game of bridge. Staff are always available to accompany the less mobile so no one need miss out. We believe that a Care Room in A Richmond Village is elderly care at its best. And unlike a conventional nursing home or care home, residents at Richmond Nantwich benefit from being part of a community where they are stimulated by the companionship of their more active neighbours too.
Our Care Agency has staff on duty 24 hours a day. We aim to provide the best care, support and advice by:
- Working with our residents and their families to develop a plan of care which the whole team follows
- Liaising with the GP and other specialists to address our residents' individual needs.
- Rigorous training, auditing and supervision to maintain standards
- Fully automatic profiling beds to enable residents to maintain their comfort.
- A range of equipment to enable those with mobility problems to still participate with all activities
- Long and short term care including rehabilitation, post operative care.
